I am getting an 'Empty Tag' error message..why is this?

This issue is caused by the NFC on your device.

It may have been used or is still being used by other Apps - these are almost always payment Apps, so the phone attempts to find a payment device, then finds the Sensor - hence "new tag" as the NFC reader chip has a tag on it.

In order to resolve this issue, please try rebooting your device as follows:

1. Log out of the OvuSense App

2. Put the device in Airplane mode

3. Carry out a hardware reset of your device.    This is more than just shutting down and turning back on again.   Your device documentation should guide you how to do this but do let us know the device make, model and software version if you don't know how to do it and we will be able to assist you further.

4. Turn off the Airplane mode

5. Log back into the OvuSense App

6. Try downloading again
