Here's a list of tips that may help you connect to your device:
- Firstly, please ensure that your phone/tablet has an adequate battery level. If your battery level is low, it is best to recharge it before attempting to connect. You must also make sure that your device is not in 'Battery Saving' mode.
- Remove any case on your device which may prevent the Sensor from connecting
- Force the OvuSense app to close: https://support.google.com/android/answer/9079646?hl=en
- Put your device into airplane mode, logout of the OvuSense App, reboot your device, turn airplane mode off, login to OvuSense.
- Double check that your NFC Settings are on. The NFC feature can sometimes turn itself off, to conserve battery power
- Find the markings on the tail of the Sensor and make sure these markings are pointing upwards
- Hold the back of the phone against the Sensor around the middle of the phone, press Add Sensor or Connect (whichever step you are trying to achieve)
- Roll the phone against the Sensor until you see the first circle light up, then hold the phone and Sensor still until connection takes place
- If you're still having trouble try holding the phone so the Sensor is nearer the top of the phone (the NFC chip in the phone may be placed differently)
* Please note if you are using an LG phone, it is likely that the NFC Reader is located at the top of phone at the rear, please try holding your Sensor still in this position to obtain a connection
